Based on a play by John Van Druten and a book by Christopher Isherwood.
Meine Damen und Herren, Ladies and Gentlemen! Welcome to the Kit Kat Club; welcome to pre-war Berlin, a city that can party like no other! We will follow a love affair between a female cabaret singer and an American writer. We may live in a crazy world of cabaret, yet we cannot help but feel the growing atmosphere of danger behind our doors. Berlin is like Titanic: the band keeps playing and the dancers carry on whirling as the ship is about to crash into an iceberg. One of the best films in the movie history was based on the musical. ”Cabaret” is a source of standards such as ”Money, Money”, ”Welcome to Berlin” and ”Don’t Tell Mama”.
The performance is intended for viewers over 15 years of age.
